We’re Manchester Padel Club , a fast-growing, high-energy club with a passionate and diverse player community and connections at the very top of global padel. Home to the MPC Academy led by former world top 10 Leo Padovani, and development game TouchPadel TM, we’re on a mission to make Manchester a true hub for padel. From leagues and socials to tournaments and events, we’re all about making padel feel social, inclusive and seriously addictive.
We’re now looking for an experienced, dynamic padel coach to join our team, someone who can inspire players on court, support our academy and help grow the game at every level.
As a Padel Coach at MPC Academy, you’ll work directly under the guidance of Leo Padovani, supporting a variety of coaching and club development programmes. Your week will include coaching beginner and intermediate players, kids and teens, running weekend sessions, delivering in-school coaching, leading social events and hosting corporate padel days, all while helping grow the MPC Academy community.
What you’ll be doing
Adult, Junior & Academy coaching
Deliver weekly academy sessions for adults and juniors (ages 5–16).
Develop fun, challenging sessions aligned with long-term player development goals.
Support talent ID and progression pathways with Leo Padovani and the academy team.
Provide feedback to parents on progress and potential.
Schools programme
Coach padel sessions in local schools (on-site or at the club).
Deliver introductory and curriculum-aligned lessons in a fun, inclusive way.
Help inspire the next generation of players through engaging outreach work.
Social events & community engagement
Organise and lead regular social padel events and mix-ins.
Build strong relationships with members, parents and juniors.
Create a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.
Corporate & private events
Plan and deliver padel experiences for company team days, client events and private groups.
Ensure a professional, fun and well-organised delivery of all events.
Weekend & peak hours coaching
Be available to coach on weekends and selected evenings, our busiest times!
Support matchplay, weekend socials and junior competitions.
About you
LTA Padel Instructor: Core Training (Level 2) or Equivalent Qualification
Experience coaching children and/or running sport-based youth sessions.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Energetic, friendly and confident with groups of all ages.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Advance DBS checked.
First Aid & Child Safeguarding certifications.
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience working in schools or education settings.
Familiarity with Playtomic or similar software.
Ability to run engaging social media content (photos/videos of events).
Tennis or multi-sport coaching background.
